September 2011 to present– Unite Group PLC the student accommodation provider. Established wide range of contracts to deliver Unite’s major 2012 Olympics contract with LOCOG (London Organising Company of the Olympic Games).  The initial three month contract has been extended to develop operational plans related to the Olympics and to undertake a procurement review. This is currently a four day a week commitment. October 2011 to present – Abellio Bus Division following the completion of the 12 month contract with Abellio Group, the Bus Division has contracted for support to deliver further savings and supply chain improvement. This is a one day a week commitment. April 2010 to present – National Express Staff Pension Plan contracted to National Express Group to chair the Group’s Pension Plan. This is a one to two day per month contract. Key achievements –  Negotiated a complex new £30m funding agreement  Reviewed and then implemented new investment strategy.  Delivered significant change to the Pension Plan. September 2010 to September 2011 – Abellio Group (Dutch Railways) implementing recommendations from the initial review. Key achievements -  Delivered in excess of £1m per annum of savings in UK operations.  Actioned several long-standing strategic and tactical issues.  Negotiated several ‘pre-agreements’ delivering high volume potential savings to support successful major did activity.  Led European Best Practice Procurement Seminar and had significant on-going interaction with Dutch, German, Swedish and Czech operations. May 2010 to July 2010 - Abellio Group (Dutch Railways) an initial high level procurement review. Key achievement –  Delivered a high quality strategic review with practical recommendations which resulted in a one year engagement with Abellio Group. March 2010 to May 2010 – National Express Group completing various projects. Key achievement –  Completed in a high quality and timely manner a range of complex projects.
